Canterbury College: First LEGO League Challenge

This past weekend saw two teams represent Canterbury College at the First LEGO League Challenge at the Brisbane Regional Competition.

The students have worked very hard over the past few months to build, program and then compete with their robot.

Each team identified a real-life problem within the community, with the aim of developing a LEGO solution.

They brainstormed in teams, researched the latest developments related to their investigation, and made an implementation plan.

This process, including their problem resolution, was presented to a panel during the day.

The students demonstrated gracious professionalism throughout all the events of the day and represented Canterbury College with pride.

The culmination of hard work, perseverance and diligence lead to all teams having an enjoyable experience at the competition.

The teams Cargo Vroom and Connect’A’Roos did an excellent job showcasing the skills they had learnt leading up to the event.

A special congratulations to the Year 5/6 team who came away with an award as Rising All-Stars across all areas of this program.

A massive congratulations to all students who participated!
