At Canterbury College we recognise and reward achievement and celebrate success.

Every year we accept applications for scholarships from exceptional students.

2020 Scholarship Applications have now closed. The following scholarships are now available for 2021 and 2022.

Sport Scholarships 2021

Canterbury students have the opportunity to compete locally in The Associated Schools (TAS) sporting competition as well as other competitions and at a representative level.

Scholarships are available for students entering Years   7 – 11 in 2021.

Performing Arts Scholarships 2021

Instrumental Music, Choral and Dance Scholarships are available to students entering Years 7 – 11 in 2021.

Scholarships are available for all instruments.  Applicants playing double reed, French horn, double bass or those with high level choral experience are encouraged to apply.

Younger students are also invited to apply for Instrumental Music Scholarships if they have successfully attained an AMEB Level 4.

Round 1: Applications have closed.

Round 2: Applications close Friday 7 August 2020.

Round 3: Applications close Friday 11 September 2020.

Academic Scholarships 2022

Canterbury is offering Academic Scholarships for students entering Year 5 – 11 in 2022.

Online applications will open in August 2020.  Please check this page again in August.

Applications close on Friday 13 November 2020 at 3:00pm.

Academic Exam will be held on Saturday 21 November 2020 from 8:00am – 12:00pm.

Mathematics Scholarships 2022

Canterbury is offering Mathematics Scholarships for students entering Year 5 – 11 in 2022.

Online applications will open in August 2020.  Please check this page again in August.

Academic Exam (including Mathematics component) is held on Saturday 21 November 2020 from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
