2022 Canterbury Christmas Appeal Fundraiser | Photos Now Available

Through thunderstorms aplenty, students flocked to the CEC to get festive at our 2022 Canterbury Christmas Appeal Fundraiser.

We heard lively (if not silky smooth) karaoke singers’ joyous and spirited tones, as they took to the stage for some audience entertainment.

Guests enjoyed a BBQ banquet with snacks, including soft drinks and buttery popcorn – all in time for the cheerful Christmas movie Elf.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated by contributing a gold coin donation, or by purchasing food and drinks on the night.

These cash donations will go towards the Australian charity Orange Sky Australia, which provides a free laundry service, showers and conversations to those in need.

We also saw many contributions placed under our House Christmas trees, and these highly essential items are being turned into care packs and donated to Rosies – Friends On The Street.

This very worthy charity aims to connect our community, providing love, support and friendship to those who might be doing it tough this Christmas period.
