The Canterbury Taipans Tennis Club at Canterbury College is holding a FREE information session for any South-East Queensland Junior Tennis Players interested in pushing through to College Level over in the USA.
All players from the local Logan tennis community are most welcome and a sausage sizzle will be included.
The session will be facilitated by:
Mr Phil Somerfield – Canterbury Taipans High Performance Tennis Coach & Former NCAA Division 1 & NAIA College Tennis Player.
Mr James Rapkins – Canterbury Taipans Director Of Tennis & High Performance Tennis Coach.
The session will include:
- US College Associations: NCAA Divisions 1, 2, 3 plus NAIA and NJCAA explained.
- Academic requirements for each Association.
- Scholarship information for each Association.
- Videos from coaches & players in the USA College System.
- Meet local players who have completed their time on Scholarship in the USA.
- Q&A Time.
- Practice Hitting & Sausage Sizzle.
