Our Year 1 Canterbury Kitchen Garden Adventure

Yesterday our Year 1 students visited our sunny Canterbury Kitchen Garden, where they looked at the freshly sprouted red poppy seedlings, checked in on their growing carrots, learned about our garden’s nourishing worm tea, and started the planting process with sacks full of seed potatoes.

Mr Penny is hoping we can get around 3,000 spuds at harvest time!

Throughout this week, students in the Junior School will take turns collectively being part of this process, and creating abundant produce to share with our community.
