Waterford
Waterford has played a significant part in the rich tapestry woven over the centuries in the Logan region and its surrounding area.
Its story is one with history steeped in timbergetting, cotton farming, sugar cane and dairy cattle.
Beginning small with just 55 locals recorded in the first Australian census of 1881, the suburb is now home to a community of 5484 people and counting (2016 census).
Our students travel to the College from a very wide catchment, covering the traditional lands of a number of Chepara peoples, including Yugarapul/Yuggara, Wangeriburra/Yugambeh and Kombumerri/Ngarangwal peoples and Quandamooka people.
The College respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land and Elders past and present and recognises their continuing connection to spirit and Country.
