Morning Prayer Service Held @ Chapel 8:00am – 8:20am Every Tuesday

The Canterbury College Chapel will be open for morning prayers every Tuesday between 8:00am – 8:20am to give praise to Jesus Christ and pray for the College.

This weekly Morning Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel and will begin from Tuesday 9 August.

Attendance is voluntary.

The idea of morning and evening prayers is traced back to the Old Testament – particularly in Exodus Chapter 29 Verses 38-39 and includes a reading from the Psalms.

The practice engenders a work-prayer balance, and is therefore a good way to begin the week, and to join one’s voice with other members of the community.

The theme for the service this term will be: Thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness.
