Where: No.2 Main Oval P Block Rear Embankment – Canterbury College.
– Entry via Sports Precinct Gate, 182 Old Logan Village Road, Waterford with plenty of onsite parking available.
Who: ALL Attending Students, Parents & Carers, Current Staff, Coaches, Canterbury Alumni Graduates, and Former Canterbury Staff MOST WELCOME!
Hosts: College Principal Mr Dan Walker, Deputy Principal Mrs Meagan King, College Chaplain Fr Dan Talbot AND Special Guest Mr Laurie Maetam.
RSVPs: Not Required.
Please join us as we officially dedicate and rename our Main Oval as the Laurie Maetam Oval with celebratory cake and of course our special guest!
There will be a short break in the TAS Sport fixtures so all students, families and staff can attend the short ceremony.
Mr Laurie Maetam served as our Cricket Coach, Science Teacher and Head of Science from 1991 until his retirement in 2023.
We’re sure Laurie would love to see you all there as we thank him for so many years of service.
Reminder: Boost Juice is booked in for Saturday Sport near our School Gym on this Saturday 24 August and the following Saturday 31 August and TAS Sport Finals Round on Saturday 7 September.
