ISQ: Independent Schools Queensland: ‘What Parents Want’ 2025 Survey | NOW OPEN Until Monday 24 March

Dear Parents and Carers,

We want to find out what’s important to you…

So we kindly request your participation in an important longitudinal survey conducted each year by ISQ: Independent Schools Queensland.

This survey is now in its sixth year, making it the longest running survey of its type in Australia.

The ‘What Parents Want’ Survey examines the decision-making process parents and carers undertake when choosing an independent school, including: cultural influences, family and friends, online and offline information, and a whole myriad of other factors like reputation, distance, student wellbeing and academic results.

All parents and carers are welcome to participate in this valuable survey – especially any NEW parents and carers, and those sending their children into Prep or Year 7 this year.

Please click the link below to start the survey which should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

We want to know why you chose to send your child to an independent school, how you came to that decision, and how Canterbury College is different from other schools.

The summary of findings from the anonymous data supplied in this survey, will provide a framework for us to continue to meet the needs of our parent body, attract more prospective families to our school community, and give our leadership team a strong foundation to formulate future strategies and decisions.

Canterbury College is committed to listening to our community and we appreciate your participation in this valuable survey…

REMINDER: ‘What Parents Want’ Survey CLOSES Monday 24 March 2025.

NB: A full report will be published in Term 3, 2025.
