***COLLEGE PARENTS & CARERS IMPORTANT REQUEST***
We kindly request parents, carers and relatives to support this event by cooking and providing bulk quantities of their traditional cultural dishes to sell at this event.
We have around 950 Years 5-12 students enrolled on campus, plus their 90-100 teachers and admin staff, plus visiting parents, carers and relatives.
Now we are obviously NOT asking people to cook 1,050 meals (!!) but this is the total potential guest number to be fed between all the various cuisines.
So let's say 10-12 different cuisines x 100 meals each OR 10-12 different cuisines x 2 traditional dishes x 40-50 of each dish... something manageable like that...
Obviously the more parents and cuisines and dishes - the less cooking quantities for everybody!
And please keep your recipe ingredients grocery shopping receipts for full reimbursement by the College.
COMPULSORY FOOD & DRINK SUPPLIERS FORM PLEASE: United Nations Day Festival: Your Food & Beverages Basic Information.
***IMPORTANT FOOD & DRINK SUPPLIERS INFO GUIDE PDF ATTACHED BELOW***
Adults who can help with on-site food preparation and counter service during this major event would also be greatly appreciated!
Our objective is to give as many people a taste of as many different cuisines as possible...
Please direct any further food related questions to our Major Events Food Services Manager: Mr Colin Mason –
Please direct any general event questions to our Director Of Student Development: Mr Chris Nield –

U18 Boys Queensland 1 Rugby Team: Congratulations Jack Henry!
U18 Boys Queensland 1 Rugby Team: Congratulations Jack Henry!
Congratulations to School Captain Jack Henry who has made the U18 Boys Queensland 1 Rugby team.
He will represent Queensland at the National Rugby Championships early in July down at Sydney.
Jack recently competed at the 2023 17-18 Years Queensland Schoolboys Rugby State Championships from Thursday 25 - Sunday 28 May, at the Surfers Paradise Rugby Club, as part of the South Coast team.
Unfortunately, the Met Coast team defeated the South Coast team in an exciting Grand Final clash 21-15.
Jack was also awarded the Queensland Rugby Football Schools Union (QRFSU) Life Member Award.
It is a long-standing tradition to present a Life Members' Award to a player from each team who exemplifies the spirit of Rugby at the Queensland Representative School Sport Rugby Championships.
WELL DONE and good luck down in Sydney Jack!
