Strings
String Orchestras commence at Canterbury with the Year 3 String Immersion Program, where every student in Year 3 learns a string instrument. The students then have the option to join All Star Strings. The program continues with developmental stages through to the advanced Ritornello String Ensemble and students move through these groups as their skills increase. Other than All Stars, the ensembles are skill-based not age-based.
