Canterbury Represents @ 2023 Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland Speech Contest | Sunday 6 August
42 Canterbury students, including eight students from our Junior School, competed against dozens of other schools in the 2023 Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland (MLTAQ) Brisbane Annual Speech Competition, held at Griffith University on Sunday 6 August.
AND… Canterbury won gold in all four of the language divisions we competed in that day – Mandarin, Spanish, French and Japanese!
Overall, we won five gold, three silver and three bronze medals, along with numerous placings and highly commended awards.
These medals and certificates will be presented to our students during Assembly at a later date.
A HUGE thank you to our Global Studies teachers for giving up their valuable time for coaching, and for their support during Sunday’s competition – Mrs Helen Tani, Mr Luke Harmer, Mrs Jennifer Wu, Ms Sara Rosello Pedros and Mrs Julia Martinez-Garcia.
Bravo à tous ! | ¡ Felicitaciones ! | よくできました! | 太棒了!
