Canterbury Represents At Real World Innovators Series

On Wednesday 22 June, Canterbury College students Thai-Lee Kristoffersen (Year 10), Amelia Barlow (Year 9) and Ariadna Prutean (Year 7) attended the Logan City Council Youth Innovations Programs – CityStudio Logan and The Catapult Program, as well as the BOP Industries Real World Innovators Series held at the Yunus Centre, Griffith University – Logan Campus.

The BOP Industries Real World Innovators Series allows students to apply their innovative thinking to challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

These sessions challenge students to think outside the box and focus on collaboration, problem-solving and communication.

The main focus of the series was – How might we build better mental health support for young people in Logan?

Thai-Lee, Amelia and Ariadna pitched four mental health support ideas aimed at improving the mental health and general wellbeing of our Canterbury students.
