2024 Interschool Maths Teams Challenge | Event Wrap, Results & Photos
Today marked a major academic occasion, with our annual Interschool Maths Teams Challenge: Problem Solving Teams Event, featuring 80 teams from Years 5-12 in our Canterbury Events Centre.
These teams collectively represented 26 schools from right around South-East Queensland, with the four-hour competition giving each student the opportunity to showcase their mathematical knowledge and skills, logical thinking, teamwork and mental determination under various time pressures.
Congratulations to Canterbury College Team A from the Primary Division, for placing first amongst our highest number of competing Primary School teams to date.
And well done to Canterbury College Team A from the Intermediate Division for coming a close second in their category.
We look forward to this ‘major mathematical milestone’ growing yet again next year after starting with 47 teams in 2022, then 57 teams in 2023, and now those 80 teams today.
