2025 Spring Music Festival | Two Evenings of Music, Mastery and Joy

Earlier this month, our Junior School community gathered for one of the most anticipated events on the Performing Arts calendar, the Spring Music Festival.

Held across two evenings, the festival provided students from Years 3-6 with a warm and supportive platform to showcase the skills they have developed throughout the year. Just as in previous years, these concerts highlighted the strength of our classroom music programs and the breadth of opportunity available to our young performers.

The first instalment, Panorama, featured the Year 5 Band, Year 6 Band, Junior Concert Band, Allegro Strings, Bravura Strings and the Junior School Choir. Students delivered a polished and energetic program, showcasing their growing ensemble skills and musical expression – a proud milestone for performers and families alike.

The second evening, Kaleidoscope, brought together Year 3 Strings, All Star Strings and the Junior Singers. This concert highlighted the joy and confidence of our youngest musicians, offering a vibrant program that celebrated teamwork, early musicianship and the excitement of shared performance.

These evenings continue to be a hallmark of the Junior School calendar; a celebration of talent, persistence and the powerful role music plays in building a vibrant, connected school community.

We congratulate every student who performed and thank our staff for creating such inspiring opportunities for our young musicians.
