$20 BOSS
$20 Boss is a nationwide immersive program that introduces students to the exciting world of entrepreneurship, and inspires them to become innovators by creating, launching and operating their very own enterprise.
Students work in teams to identify problems, create product solutions, and turn their ideas into a real business.
This subject promotes ongoing critical and creative thinking, while embedding financial capability.
It equips students for their future careers and empowers them to forge their own pathways.
At the upcoming Spark Learning Expo, students have the opportunity to set up a market stall and use the skills developed throughout the program to promote and sell their products to the community.

Join us for the...
2023 Semester 2 Junior School Spark Learning Expo | 11:30am - 1:30pm, Wednesday 15 November | Canterbury Events Centre (CEC).
We invite you to explore the displays and presentations created by our upper Junior School students throughout Semester 2 this year in their Spark Classes.
---------------------
What is SPARK?
SPARK is an elective-based ‘hands-on’ curriculum for Years 5 and 6 students that is unique to Canterbury.
Each semester our students choose a special subject to study.
Then students from both year levels are combined into the same classroom and taught by relevant staff.
SPARK is about building curiosity, encouraging students to try something new, and providing an exceptional opportunity for them to embark on their own learning journey, as part of their ‘World Ready’ Canterbury education.
When does SPARK occur?
SPARK happens once per week, with students encouraged to continue their learning beyond the classroom.
How does SPARK link to the curriculum?
SPARK focuses on the Australian Curriculum’s general capabilities, looking at critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability, ethical understanding and intercultural understanding.
How can I see my child’s learning?
The Junior School hosts a learning exhibition at the end of each semester, where all students will have something to exhibit based on their SPARK sessions.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Our College’s 2024 required Book & Stationery Lists are NOW available for viewing and ordering online through Campion Education.
Canterbury College’s Unique Campion Education Online Order Access Key: RG2G
Campion Education provides an efficient online ordering system, as well as a convenient shopfront service in Salisbury.
We have found Campion to be a flexible and very economical option for our Canterbury families to date.
However, parents and carers are MOST welcome to download their list/s, then shop for these same materials at their own preferred supplier/s.
Students in the ELC, Prep and Year 1 have their stationery supplies provided in the classroom, as most resources are shared in these Early Learning years.
The cost for these supplies has been included in your Single Resource Charge (SRC) for 2024.
Now each level from Years 2-12 has an itemised list duplicated on both the Campion Education website and Canterbury College website.
There you will find a list of textbooks and/or general stationery required for all subjects in that year level, plus some subject specific requirements.
In some cases, items from previous years can be retained if they are still in good condition, which will further reduce costs.
Parents and carers can order online 24/7 and have items delivered to their home for a $11.95 delivery fee.
OR they can pick their orders up from Campion Education’s retail store located at – Unit 5, 121 Evans Road, Salisbury, Brisbane.
To order, please visit THIS WEBLINK, then create your account (if required), log in, then order your supplies by entering the unique Canterbury Code RG2G to access our Book & Stationery Lists.
To ensure delivery by the start of the 2024 School Year, ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 11:59PM FRIDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2023!
Orders can still be placed after this due date by visiting the Campion Education website or their Retail Service Centre.
However, full stock availability cannot always be guaranteed for orders placed after the due date.
Please Note: 2024 Years 8 – 11 subjects will not be confirmed until the end of Term 4, when the timetable is finalised.
