When: 2:15pm – 3:05pm, THIS Friday 16 September 2022 – Last Day Of Term 3.
11:10am – 12:50pm: Whole House Preparation & Rehearsals For Choir Singing Competition
12:50pm – 1:25pm: Lunch Break
1:30pm – 2:10pm: End Of Term Chapel
2:15pm – 3:05pm: 2022 Canterbury Interhouse Choir Singing Competition
3:05pm – 3:15pm: Dismissal From House Areas
Where: CEC – Canterbury Events Centre, Canterbury College.
Please use the Junior School High Road Gate via High Road, Waterford with plenty of onsite parking.
Who: For Years 6-12 Students AND ALL Parents, Carers & Families are MOST WELCOME to attend the afternoon performance!
Dress Code: Students – House HPE Uniform | Parents & Families – Smart Casual.
How It Works:
House Leaders get to choose their 70s themed House Choir Song this Thursday.
Our Music Director Dr Peddell will have 6 x packs containing 2 x song choices each.
From those two choices, Houses can only select ONE song to perform.
House Leaders then have 24 hours to teach their House that song and the dance routine, before their performance in the CEC from 2:15pm this Friday.
Points will be awarded for the best House performances AND to the House with the most students in attendance!
All points go towards the annual Canterbury House Cup.
This is one of the most enjoyable end-of-term House events on our entire school calendar – from the morning rehearsals, right up until the final on-stage performances.
You don’t want to miss this epic last day of Term 3 supporting your House in person!

Each House has one classic ABBA song OR one other hit 70s song to perform…
Their song choices are:
Becket House – ABBA Song: Waterloo | Other: I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor.
Cranmer House – ABBA Song: Money, Money, Money | Other: We Are Family – Sister Sledge.
Goldsworthy House – ABBA Song: SOS | Other: September – Earth, Wind & Fire.
Kime House – ABBA Song: Mamma Mia | Other: Signed, Sealed, Delivered – Stevie Wonder.
Ramsey House – ABBA Song: Take A Chance On Me | Other: ABC – The Jackson 5.
Temple House – ABBA Song: Dancing Queen | Other: Stayin’ Alive – Bee Gees.
BUT they can only choose one!
