Australian School of Entrepreneurship (ASE) – 2022 Logan Youth Young Entrepreneurial Summit (YES)
On Wednesday 15 June, Canterbury students were fortunate to attend the 2022 Logan Youth Entrepreneurial Summit (YES) hosted by the Australian School of Entrepreneurship.
YES is a one-day interactive summit specially designed to help young people develop the skills and mindset they need to become successful entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, engineers, scientists and small business owners.
The students enjoyed keynote presentations from Duku Fore (Founder of Rich Dreams), Matt Acton and Abby Cameron from the B105 Morning Crew, and various young entrepreneurial and tech leaders on Australian panels.
Students also participated throughout the day in an Ideation Workshop where they identified a problem and brainstormed a solution.
YES is supported by several partners who helped make the day possible – Crimson Education, Logan City Council, Advance Queensland, Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur, BUSY At Work, TAFE Queensland and Canterbury College.
