Taipan Roboneers: Practicing To Be Future Programmers
Our Years 5-9 Taipan Roboneers have been busy learning coding fundamentals and programming their robots!
By learning coding fundamentals, they develop the skills to control robots with precision and consistency.
They also put into practice the role of being a programmer which involves:
- Identifying the problem – moving the robot from a set location for a specific measurement of distance, then having it collect an item, and finally return to its starting point.
- Describing a series of actions – through coding that solves the problem.
- Programming the robot.
- Testing and improving the robot’s functionality.
