Year 10 and 11 French Alliance Française Excursion
On Monday 26 May, our Years 10 and 11 French students visited the Alliance Française at West End for an engaging French experience. Students took part in a class with Alliance Française’s teachers and visited their extensive French library.
Alliance Française de Brisbane is part of a worldwide network of 850 Alliance Française centres, supported by the French Government, which aim to promote the French language and francophone culture around the world, running a variety of classes and events such as the French Film Festival.
After their hard work students enjoyed a very Parisen lunch of coffee and croissants from Lune Croissanterie.
This excursion was an excellent opportunity for students to engage with French native speakers and deepen their understanding of Unit 2 topics.
It was a great experience, and I know the students can’t wait to visit again next year!
