QSO Young Instrumentalist Prize | Finalist Haydn Li

On Saturday 26 April, our talented student Haydn Li (Year 12, Performing Arts Captain) competed in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s (QSO) prestigious Young Instrumentalist Prize – one of the state’s most high-profile competitions for young musicians learning an orchestral instrument.

This competition is renowned for showcasing exceptional young talent across Queensland, with only six finalists selected each year to perform.

Haydn, who was a finalist in both 2022 and 2023, has once again made it to the finals this year, continuing to demonstrate his dedication and remarkable musical ability.

We are very proud of Haydn’s achievements and look forward to celebrating many more milestones in his musical journey.
