More Information

Canterbury celebrates its 37th Anniversary by reflecting on how far we’ve come, and looking forward to all the ‘milestones and magic’ still to come over the next 37 years…

Our official morning ceremony’s chapel service will give thanks and inspiration to our thriving Canterbury Community, followed by special presentations from our Principal and a former Acting Headmaster – who started with the College back in 1986, to honour our wonderful past.

And who will win our prestigious ‘Alumnus of the Year’ Award for 2024?

Then finally, it’s time for our much-anticipated Cursus Magnus, where eight teams of eight runners compete in our annual relay race, cheered on by the entire Canterbury Community:

  • A Years 5–12 Student Team from each of the six Houses.
  • Plus our Canterbury Alumni Past Students Team.
  • Plus our College Staff Team.

Each runner must complete their required distance before passing the baton onto the next runner, until all eight runners have completed their turn, to find the overall winning team.

Best performing House WINS. Who will come out on top?

2023 Cursus Magnus Champions: Ramsey House

2022 Cursus Magnus Champions: Ramsey House

2021 Cursus Magnus Champions: Becket House

Come and show your House and College spirit as we host one of our biggest events for the year.

Happy Canterbury Foundation Day!
