Canterbury Takes On The Kokoda Challenge
Three dedicated teams of Year 12 students are stepping up for this year’s Kokoda Challenge on Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 July — Australia’s toughest team endurance event that honours the spirit of the soldiers who fought on the Kokoda Track in 1942.
These students will hike through rivers, scale steep hills and push past exhaustion – all in the name of teamwork, resilience, and raising funds for the Kokoda Youth Foundation, which supports local youth through life-changing programs.
Each team needs to raise a minimum of $350 by Saturday 12 July, and every dollar counts!
If you’d like to support them, donations can be made through their supervising teachers:
Team Navy – Mr Andrew Porter | Team Red – Ms Kathy Simpson | Team White – Mr Michael Bowden
Team Navy – $297 left | Team Red – All Set! | Team White – $54 left
Let’s get behind our Kokoda teams, Canterbury!
