Canterbury Represents @ 2024 Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland Speech Contest | Sunday 4 August
46 Canterbury students, including 12 students from our Junior School, competed against dozens of other schools in the 2024 Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland (MLTAQ) Brisbane Annual Speech Competition, held at Griffith University on Sunday 4 August.
Canterbury won awards in ALL of the language divisions we competed in that day – Mandarin, Spanish, French and Japanese!
Overall, we won four gold, one silver and four bronze medals, along with numerous placings and highly commended awards.
These medals and certificates will be presented to our students during Assembly later this term.
A HUGE thank you to our Global Studies teachers for giving up their valuable time for coaching, and for their support during the competition – Mrs Helen Tani, Mrs Jennifer Wu, Ms Sara Rosello Pedros, Mrs Julia Martinez Garcia, Mrs Rosie Norfolk and Mr Daniel Clark.
Bravo à tous ! | ¡ Felicitaciones ! | よくできました! | 太棒了!
