Canterbury Musicians Bring Home Top Prizes from Strike A Chord 2025!

On Saturday 30 August, our young musicians Haydn Li, Isabella Oxenbridge, and George Li performed at the Strike A Chord Grand Finals 2025 in the Melbourne Recital Centre. Canterbury is proud to announce that all three musicians placed within the top three this year!
The IncrediBows, featuring Haydn Li and George Li, has been awarded the Robert Salzer First Prize ($5000).
Isabella Oxenbridge performed in the ATC Trio, receiving the Youth Music Foundation of Australia Third Prize ($2500).
All three Canterbury musicians also performed as part of the Quartet Alla Zingarese ensemble, also awarded the 4MBS Prize.
These results are reflective of the exceptional performances our musicians have put forward and we extend our appreciation to Coordinator of Chamber Music Tim Li, who has shown his strong dedication for our Performing Arts program.
