Canterbury Customs House Concert | Event Wrap

On Sunday 27 July, our talented musicians filled Brisbane’s historic Customs House with a morning of captivating music and exceptional performances.

Canterbury families, staff, students and guests gathered in The Long Room to enjoy a stunning program. The concert featured performances by Cantabile, Ritornello, the Chamber Music School – including the celebrated Trio Bellissimo – along with breathtaking soloists who highlighted the depth of musical talent at Canterbury.

Adding to the magic, Canterbury alumni opera singer Alla Yarosh (Class of 2017), a mezzo-soprano, graced the stage with a powerful and moving performance. She is currently in her fourth year as a resident artist at the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, USA.

The heritage-listed Customs House, with its elegant riverside setting, provided the perfect backdrop for this showcase of musical excellence.

Congratulations to all performers and the Canterbury Performing Arts team for creating such a memorable and inspiring morning of music.
