Our 2025 Canterbury College World Ready Futures Expo on Friday 21 March is an important on-campus event designed to help our current Years 9-10 students prepare for the world beyond our school gates.
So we are seeking Canterbury Alumni with diverse career pathways to share a snapshot of their journey post-school with small groups of current students.
There are a range of sessions available during the day in small time blocks between 9:00am – 1:30pm.

Last Friday 31 January, we proudly celebrated the achievements of our Class of 2024 graduates, marking their ATAR and final Year 12 results, at our annual Scholars Ceremony inside the CEC.
We were honoured to have many VIP guests join us for this special event, including:
Mr Jacob Olsson – 2014 Dux of Canterbury College
The Honourable Ms Shannon Fentiman MP – State Member for Waterford, Shadow Treasurer and Shadow Minister for Women
Mr Jon Raven – Mayor of Logan City
Mr Nathan St Ledger – Division 4, Logan City Councillor
Mrs Natalie Williams – Chair of the Canterbury Parent Consultative Committee.
Special thanks to our alumni graduate Mr Jacob Olsson and The Hon. Ms Shannon Fentiman MP, who shared inspiring speeches with our assembled Years 5-12 students, alongside our Class of 2024 academic award winners.
Guests also heard from Principal Mr Dan Walker and our new Head of Teaching and Learning Mrs Rebecca Adamson, who was the Head of Senior School last year with our 2024 Year 12s.
Our 2025 Academic Captain Chloe Booth finished the event by interviewing our 2024 Dux Alec Dyer and Proxime Accessit Zachary Vasquez on stage about their studies, career path, dream job, role models and advice for the other students.

Last Friday 31 January, we welcomed our Year 12 students with their parents and carers to the 2025 Seniors Soiree - a wonderful social evening, designed to set the stage for their big final year here at Canterbury.
This special event gave families the opportunity to meet key leadership staff, Heads of House, Heads of Faculty, and Senior School teachers, helping to strengthen these vital relationships, that will support students through this important last chapter of their school education.
Beyond gaining insights into the exciting year ahead, guests enjoyed delicious canapés, refreshing beverages, and meaningful conversations in the relaxed night setting of our Canterbury Functions Centre under perfect summer skies.
We look forward to seeing what the Class of 2025 will achieve this year.

What a joyful morning it was at our Canterbury Junior School’s New Parents and Carers ‘Meet & Greet’ for the very first day of Term 1, 2025.
Thank you to the 80-plus parents and carers who joined us under sunny skies at our Yalburru Community Café, to connect with our Junior School Leaders, Principal Dan Walker, Deputy Principal Meagan King and the Head of Junior School Karen Roman.
It was wonderful to meet you all, and to see so many parents and carers come together, hear from our senior staff, ask questions, and build relationships within our school community from Day One.
We truly appreciate your ongoing support and involvement in your child’s education – it makes all the difference.
