Aimee and Abigail Represent Queensland at National Rugby Championships

Congratulations to Year 11 student Aimee Henry, who was named Best Player in the Final at the Australian Schools Rugby National Championships!
Aimee represented Queensland’s U16 Sevens Maroon team, helping them secure a thrilling 22-19 Cup Final victory over NSW. The team placed 2nd overall in the national competition – and to top it off, Aimee was selected for the Australian Schoolgirls U16 Sevens Merit Team!
A big shout-out to fellow Year 10 student Abigail Viriki, who also represented Queensland in the U16 White Girls’ Team, placing an impressive 6th in the Plate Final.
Thank you to all the organisers, families and team officials who supported our athletes throughout the week.
