College Fees
- Tuition Fees are set by the College Board and reviewed annually.
- Canterbury parents and carers are notified in writing around late September each year, of any changes to the Fee Schedule for the following school year.
How it works…
Every semester, each family pays the three compulsory elements that cover their child/ren’s education at Canterbury College = Tuition Fee + Single Resource Charge + Master Plan Building Fund Levy.
Part 1: Tuition Fee
Tuition Fees are invoiced each semester and can be paid via one, two or five instalments per semester.
Sibling Discounts
Families with two or more children enrolled at Canterbury receive sibling discounts on their Tuition Fees.
All children must be listed together on the one fee account and must reside at the same household.
Sibling discounts apply to Tuition Fees only.
Part 2: Single Resource Charge (SRC)
This consolidated amount covers all core educational materials: textbooks, software licences, learning apps, MyCC, cocurricular resources, outdoor education camps, whole year level incursions and excursions, ID card, printing and copying, consumables, yearbooks, J/TAS Sport registration, and Surface Pro laptop computer with keyboard, stylus, protective case, carry bag, warranty and Accidental Damage Protection Plan (Years 4-12).
The Year 12 SRC also includes a student ticket and two parent/carer tickets for the Valedictory Dinner in November.
The SRC is specific to each year level and is billed every semester.
Part 3: Master Plan Building Fund Levy
This levy allows Canterbury to maintain or improve its educational, sport, performing arts and outdoor facilities, and prioritise its Master Plan projects, to optimise every child’s campus experience.

Dear Parents and Carers,
At Canterbury we are always looking at improving the services we provide to our community.
So we now offer a secure, paperless and flexible direct debit payment system within MyCC’s Parent Lounge for managing each semester’s school fees.
This system also allows families to manage and track their school payments from within the Parent Lounge.
System Advantages
- Flexibility – Parents can choose to pay via credit or debit card, bank account, or both.
NB: Direct debits from bank savings accounts incur no processing fees, while card transactions incur a processing fee of 1.32% – 1.7% from Mastercard or Visa. - Convenience – Families can tailor a payment arrangement to suit their needs, as payments can now be made in 2 or 5 instalments each semester.
- Security – There is no need for families to share card details and this payment platform is 100% PCI DSS compliant.
- Clarity – Automated email advice keeps families aware of upcoming payment dates and amounts.
A preview of what this direct debit platform looks like, including a step-by-step walk-through, can be found by clicking this LINK HERE.
Canterbury recognises that these payment options may still not suit the budgets and income cycles of all families.
Parents or carers who believe these fee payment arrangements will be incompatible with their family budget, should contact our Family Liaison Officer, Mrs Lisa Foster – T: 07 3299 0807 | E:
