Monday lunchtime was a ‘football feast’ for our Years 3-6 students, as they were treated to an AFL Queensland visit from Gold Coast Suns players – Noah Anderson, Ned Moyle and Leonardo Lombard.

From kicking and handballing skills, to professional athlete tips on exercise, general fitness and healthy eating, our young footy fans soaked up every moment of this AFL masterclass on our Junior School Oval.

They even walked away with their very own signed autographs – treasured keepsakes from an afternoon they will long remember.

A big ‘thank you’ to these professional footballers for sharing their passion, skills and time with our keen Junior School AFL fans.

Who knows? We may have a future AFL superstar in-the-making right here at Canterbury College.
