2026 AMusA Achievement | Amy Seo

Congratulations to Amy Seo on being formally presented with her AMusA Diploma in Viola at the AMEB Queensland 2026 Performance and Awards Ceremony by John-Paul Langbroek MP, Minister for Education and the Arts, held at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University on Friday 6 March. 🎻✨
The Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA) is one of AMEB’s most respected diploma qualifications, awarded only to candidates who demonstrate a highly advanced level of technical command, musical maturity and artistic understanding. It is widely regarded as comparable in standard to an associate-level undergraduate music qualification.
Remarkably, Amy completed this examination in 2025 while still in Year 8, placing her among the youngest viola candidates in Queensland to ever attain this milestone.
Amy has distinguished herself through her breadth of contribution to music at Canterbury, as a valued member of Ritornello, Sinfonia and Cantabile, while also being a highly sought-after player within Canterbury’s state-leading Chamber Music Program. 🎼
Amy learns viola from Canterbury’s violin and viola teacher, Ms Yoon Joo Jee.
