2024 Year 12 Valedictory Dinner | Event Wrap & Photo Gallery

On Wednesday evening 13 November, our major event – the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner, was held at the Logan Entertainment Centre to honour and celebrate our wonderful Class of 2024.

Throughout the night, we proudly presented Canterbury Colours Awards along with Major Awards in the areas of sport, culture, community and leadership.

Congratulations to all our Year 12s, and especially those award recipients on their remarkable achievements.

We also celebrated our 13 and 14-year Canterbury families with special gifts, recognising they have been part of our community since their children started in our Kindy and Prep all those years ago…

The evening was a ‘feelgood’ memorable occasion, featuring delicious canapes, main course dinner, themed cupcake desserts, drinks and a heartwarming photo slideshow of student and school moments across the past 14 years.

And… there was a very entertaining room-wide game of Kahoot! assembled and hosted by College Principal Mr Dan Walker himself, using pop culture questions and Canterbury-related trivia questions from 2012 onwards, played between the tables of parents, carers, students and staff.

A special thank you to Year 12 students Emerald Kaing, Alec Dyer, Nina Burton, Alex Hamilton and JJ Hamilton, who shared their cherished reflections from their Canterbury journeys.

Please see below for the full list of award winners on the night.
