50th Australian Schools Rugby Championships | Congratulations Abigail, Aimee, Ainslie-Alyssa & Aaliyah
Congratulations to Ainslie-Alyssa Iva, our School Sports Captain, and the formidable Rugby 7s players Abigail Viriki, Aimee Henry and Aaliyah Frescon-Sheppard, who are currently representing Queensland at the 50th Australian Schools Rugby Championships on the Sunshine Coast.
Students are representing the following teams:
- Abigail Viriki (Year 9) – QLD White U16s
- Aimee Henry (Year 10) – QLD Maroon U16s
- Ainslie-Alyssa Iva (Year 12) – QLD White U18s
- Aaliyah Frescon-Sheppard (Year 12) – Lloyd McDermott’s National Indigenous U18s Rugby Development Team
Additionally, our First XV Assistant, Touch and Rugby 7s Coach, Marioulla Belessis, is coaching the QLD Maroon U18s, who are scheduled to compete in the Gold medal match.
A special mention goes to Abigail Viriki and her QLD White U16 team, who are gearing up for today’s Gold medal match against NSW 1.
