2024 QLD Secondary Schools Tennis Cup: South Coast Region – Open Tennis Girls | Event Runners-Up!

Our Open Tennis Girls did Canterbury proud yesterday in the 2024 Queensland Secondary Schools Cup – South Coast Region, winning Runners-Up in a wonderful day of singles and doubles matches.

We were victorious in outscoring Miami State High School, Palm Beach Currumbin, A.B. Paterson College Team 2, and Somerset College – all which fielded strong teams.

Congrats to Nono, Katie, Isabella and Mckynlee who were ‘masterclass’ level.

Many thanks to Canterbury College staff Arnie Marraiya, Therese Higgins and Peter and Josh Vlcek for sanctioning the competition, parents Brock and Dan, and all the coaches who contributed to a great day of tennis.

Our Queensland Primary Schools Tennis Cup teams are now filling up, so please express your interest to represent Canterbury Taipans Tennis on Friday 25 October 2024 for our Red, Orange and Green Ball teams.
