REVEALED TODAY: 2024 Australian Education Awards Excellence Awardees / Category Finalists | Canterbury College: Best Use Of Technology
After a massive round of nominations, The Educator is proud to announce the Excellence Awardees for the 2024 Australian Education Awards.
These awards, now in their seventh year, recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers.
The educational excellence in Australia’s schools will be recognised at a black-tie gala event, being held at Sydney’s Star Event Centre on Friday 9 August 2024, where the overall winner from each category’s nominations will be officially announced.
The nationwide awards span 29 categories, including: Best Student Wellbeing Program, Education’s Rising Star Of The Year Award, and Australian School Of The Year.
Canterbury College is a regular Excellence Awardee or category finalist year after year, among the country’s 9,629 schools across various categories.
And… the 2024 Australian Education Awards is no exception.
This year, Canterbury has been recognised for the Best Use Of Technology category, for the brilliant work being achieved for our students, staff, parents and carers by our Head of AI and Digital Transformation, Senior School Teacher and eSports Coordinator Mr James Jenkins, and our Director of IT Services Mr Afzal Shariff, and their hi-tech colleagues here on campus.
So please wish us good luck on Friday evening 9 August down in Sydney!
