2025 Junior School Spanish Day

On Tuesday 19 August, our Junior School took part in the annual Spanish Language Festival – a vibrant celebration of the cultures of Spain, Central and South America.

The day began with a dynamic salsa and bachata performance by our special guests: Diego and Katya from Destino Latin Dance, who later led engaging workshops with students in Years 4 to 6.

Across the festival, students rotated through a range of cultural activities including traditional dance, crafts like papel picado and mask-making, and the Spanish board game la oca, further highlighting the importance of respecting and appreciating cultural diversity.

Thank you to Destino Latin Dance, our dedicated Year 9 Spanish students, and the Spanish teaching team for making the day such a success.
