2024 Young Business Leaders 8-Week Program Finale | Breakfast Showcase & Two Winners
On Thursday morning, our select group of entrepreneurially-minded Canterbury students were involved in the Breakfast Showcase Finale, for their eight-week Young Business Leaders Program hosted by Club Beenleigh.
This Breakfast Showcase provided an opportunity for our young business students to advertise and pitch their products, services and ideas to the wider Logan community, parents, carers and other schools’ business students.
After a buffet breakfast, Maddie Panther from BOP Industries – the agency which oversaw the overall program, announced the category winners judged from the showcase stalls.
So we are excited to announce that Canterbury College received two awards.
Bear from Artbands received the award for Best Branding with his customised exercise watchbands.
Dekota from Delou received the award for Most Innovative Idea with her specialised mini loofah tubes, containing their own applicator brush and solution.
It was a fantastic morning celebrating the efforts and achievements of our Young Business Leaders, who have worked extremely hard on their commercial creations throughout Term 2.
The Young Business Leaders Program is organised by BOP Industries with the support of event partner the Beenleigh Yatala Junior Chamber of Commerce, and event sponsors Bendigo Bank, Quota Beenleigh Inc, the Rotary Club of Beenleigh, Logan City Council, Logan Office of Economic Development and new Logan Mayor Jon Raven.
We look forward to seeing how these businesses actually develop and grow in the real world into the future, along with the entrepreneurial mindsets of these motivated Senior School students.
