2024 ANZAC Day Interschool Students Commemoration Ceremony | Tuesday Morning @ The Shrine Of Remembrance – ANZAC Square, Brisbane CBD

On Tuesday morning, Canterbury’s Year 12 Prefects joined hundreds of other young Queensland students at ANZAC Square’s Shrine of Remembrance in Brisbane City, to lay our College wreath and to remember all those who served our country in times of war.

Despite the rain, it was a huge turnout for this annual solemn ceremony.

Our students also toured the ANZAC Memorial Crypt’s interactive journey, that spanned from World War One until today – exploring the people, places and stories that underpin Queensland’s war experience.

The event was covered by local TV News media which showed Canterbury students in attendance, with senior staff members Mrs Rebecca Adamson – Head of Senior School and Mr Nic Aldridge – Acting Assistant Head of Senior School.
