On Saturday 27 May, our community-minded Secondary students – Lilly Rider, Rhylee Jackson, Tayla Budd, Morgan Watt, Benjamin Stanley, Connar Smith-Miller, Ashutosh Vaitha, Amelia Periaho and Maddy Mills – attended the Junior Quota Beenleigh annual ‘The Big Box Sleepout’ to raise money for homeless people living in our community.

Held on the courts of the Beenleigh Tennis Centre, this eye-opening night of ‘rough sleeping’ was an excellent opportunity for our Secondary students to see what life is like for people doing it tough and living on the streets.

Junior Quota kids are mentored by senior Quotarians who call this their Training For Life project.

All funds raised will go towards youth programs centred around the Beenleigh and Logan areas.
